Exhaust Cooling OrificeScreen Cleaning
The exhaust pipe rubber hoses and muffler are cooled by injecting small amount of water through an orifice from the main cooling system into the exhaust streamThe orifice and screen should be inspected and cleaned periodically to ensure proper cooling of the exhaust muffler and connector hosesBe sure hoses are not restricted (kinked or collapsed intemally)
Do not enlarge the orifice or decrease in performance will resultLoosen clamp connecting hose to fitting and remove lineUsing deep well 916" socket or flare nut wrench, remove fitting from exhaust manifoldInspect fitting for debris or restriction and clean if necessary3Inspect and clean orifice and screen4Apply pipe thread sealant to threads of
