ENGINECOOLING Engine Removal
1Turn off fuel valve2Remove seat; apply masking tape around seat opening to protect hull from scratches during engine lifting procedures34Remove battery ground cable from the batteryRemove air intake cover) Lift out intake screen and gasket(Protect carburetors from foreign debris at all times Remove air intake bolts
The oil line fittings are located at the carburetorsSlide back the clamps and remove the oil linesDo not damage the lines56789Raise the front hatch and lift out the storage bucketRemove the straps for the fuel tank and move the fuel tank to gain access to the pipesRemove the sti nger hoseRemove the bolts from the PTO head pipeRemove the hose from the PTO head pipe
10Remove the hose from the PTO pipe body11Remove two nuts from the pipe mounts(front of pipe 12Remove the water overboard hose13Disconnect the exhaust valve cables at the exhaust valves14Remove the pipe through the seat opening15Follow the same procedure to remove the MAG pipe16Follow the same procedure to remove the Center pipe17Remove electrical box coverUnplug engine wire harness connectorsRemove harness grommet bracket and pull harness out of electrical box18Remove the battery ground cable at the engine19Unplug water temperature sensor wire at engine20Disconnect battery positive (+) cable at starter motor 21 Disconnect fuel supply line from MAG fuel pumpDisconnect fuel return line from fuel railRemove and plug oil supply line at oil pump
