ELECTRICAL Ignition CoilsPolaris 700 11 OSOcc Ignition Coils
NOTE: The ignition system used on all Polaris 700 and 1050cc personal watercraft engines are sequential firing typesIgnition spark on each cylinder occurs independently of the others using separate trigger pulse from each Hall Effect sensor in the statorOn models with sequential firing, the high tension leads (spark plug wires) must be installed on their respective cylinders or the engine will not run properly

To Determine Wire Sequence
12Unscrew spark plug cap from one high tension leadMeasure resistance of ignition coil secondary winding by attaching one lead of an ohmmeter to the end of the spark plug wire, and the other lead to good engine ground (see III 2for connections)Resistance should be measured with the coil at room temperatureMeasured resistance must be within 10 of 1550.0 Apply Corrosion Resistant Nyogel'" grease (PN 2871329) to both ends of the spark plug capScrew the cap onto wire until tight
