1Loosen four screws from each fuel inleVoutlet chamberContinue to remove all screws evenlyThe connecting plate need not be removedLift the chambers off as an assemblyBlow all passages clean with compressed air (100 PSI max Note the fuel return restrictor orifice in each chamber
During carburetor disassembly do not remove choke throttle butterflies or shaftsThe plate retaining screws are staked to prevent looseningBe extremely careful to ensure paint chips do not get inside the carburetors, resulting in clogged jets andor passages3Pull out each fuel inlet screen and clean or replace themThe presence of water or debris will cause lean operating conditionsRemove the chamber O-ring and inspect it for any sign of damageDistortion or damage will result in lean operating conditionIII III
