NOTE: This procedure is very accurate when performed carefully and correctlyManual synchronization can be performed with the carburetors installed, but it is recommended to remove carburetors (see carburetion section)Perform this procedure in well lit area1Turn idle screw out until mag end throttle plate is closed completelyIt may be necessary to open the other throttle plates slightly with synchronizing screws to allow the mag end plate to close completelyTo verify proper sync, observe all plates and back idle screw outAll plates should close at the same timeTurn idle adjuster screw in while observing bypass portTurn screw in until port appears at edge of plateAdjust center (3 cylinder) or PTO (twin cylinder) throttle plate to the same position as idle stop screw end using synchronizing screw (see photo at right Adjust throttle plate to the same position as the other carburetor(s)3"C
