MAINTENANCEfTUNE UP Recommended Lubricants As with all watercraft, proper lubrication and corrosion protection are necessary to maintain performance and ensure years of trouble free serviceUse the recommended lubricant for each component as indicated in the chart belowApplication -Driveshaft coupler splines -Driveshaft impeller splines -Steering post bushings -Driveshaft bearing housing -Steering cable ends -Pump to hull a-ring -Carburetor shafts, springs -Seat latch and hooks Nyogel Grease -All electrical connections and connectors -Battery cable bolts -Engine ground connection at mount plate, reed cage, etcMarine Grade -Pump inlet scoop Silicone Sealant -Pump mating surfaces (PN 8560054) -Ride plate -Area where cables pass through hull, -All underwater areas, -Throttle, choke, and steering inner cables Cable Lube -Ends of throttle and choke cable -Oil pump control cable -reverse cable (if applicable) T-9 Metal -All external metal parts protectant (For internal engine protection use Polaris fogging oil)
