FICHT FUEL INJECTION Service Code Retrieval! Using Polaris Diagnostic Software To Manually Erase Service Codes To manually erase service codes, perform the following steps in the sequence shownThis procedure will erase ALL codes as they cannot be erased individually
Step 1: While in the diagnostic mode, return the throttle cam 10 the idle positionWait for seconds or moreThe "Service Code Light" will stay on during this limeIf using TPS jumper tool PN 2872603, unplug tool for seconds or moreStep 2: Move TPS cam again to its high-end limit (the "Service Code light" will turn off)Then return the cam
to the idle position (the "SelVice Code Light" willlurn on)If using jumper tool, plug 1001 in, then unplugSame results will happenNOTE: If using separate throttle position sensor, it must completely travel stop-ta-stop
Repeat Step four more times (for total of cycles)After returning the TPS to it low-end limit the Code Light" will go out if there are no Hard 5th time (or unplugging the jumper tool the 5th time)the CodesIf there are Hard Codes, the light will turn back onBear in mind that the engine must be run before some service codes will be acquired4: Unplug tether cord from stop switchAll service codes will now be erased
