Using Service Code Light
The following procedure uses tool PN 2872455 (Service Code Light) to display service codes stored in the EMMWhen this diagnostic mode is entered, seNiee code will blink once, then be followed by the next code storedCodes will be displayed as two digits, Le17,34, etcA short pause wi ll separate the digits, longer pause will
separate code numbersCodes will be displayed in continuous loop; the first code, when arrived at, will be preceded by several second
pause during which the light will remain litCodes will continue to be displayed until stopped by the technician See the Service Code Chart for code interpretationNOTE: Once in the diagnostic mode, the engine cannot be started
