Storage Compartment Door Adjustment
The storage compartment seal must be in good condition to prevent water from entering Carefully inspect the condition of the seal and make sure it is securely fastenedCompartment Door Alig nmentX-4S NOTE: Do not close compartment door with hinge nuts, latch striker plate, or latch looseThe door may be extremely difficult to re-open1Open storage compartment door and make sure rubber seal is in place and in good conditionVisually check alignment of door along both edgesThe gap should be equal on both sidesIf adjustment is necessary, mark location of hinges with pencil for referenceRemove storage bucket and loosen two main hinge nuts (inside under top deck) just enough to allow adjustment of doorShift door to side of smaller gap until equal on both sidesHold door in position and tighten nutsCarefully close door and check alignment
