If the engine becomes water-flooded, follow these procedures immediatelyIf water is left in the engine it will cause severe engine damageRemove watercraft from water
Remove lanyard cord from engine stop switchPut watercraft onto flat surface protected by mat or cardboard; leaving room to roll itRemove drain plug to emply water out of bilge, and remove seatRemove spark plugs and tip watercraft counterclockwise (to port side) until spark plug holes are just below horizontal
