Check lightness of ll engine mounts including boils that secure mounting plate to engineInspect rubber mounts for cracksTighten or replace if necessaryAlways replace engine mounts when engine is removed for service

A compression test is good indicator of engine condition For accurate readings, use high quality gauge and make sure the battery is in good condition and fully charged

WARNING
The spark plug high tension leads ust be securely grounded to the engine block to prevent spark which may ignite fuel or fu mes, causing fire explosion
Remove all spark plug high tension leads and
connect securely to ground on engine block
Remove all spark plugs and install compression gauge in cylinder to be testedthrottle wide open until maximum reading is obtained (approximately 3-5 seconds)Record reading
