Insert the safety lanyard lock clip in engine stop switchMeasure the voltage between the Whitelblack wire terminal (+) of the ECM 33P (Gray) connector of the wire harness side and ground (-)TOOL: Test probe There should be approximately VIf there is no voltage, check an open circuit in the Whitelblack wire ECM 33P (Gray) CONNECTOR (Wire sidelfemale terminal)

INSPECTION
Remove the front storage box (page 3-5)Release the wire bandDisconnect the handlebar switch 4P (Black) connectorBAND
ENGINE STOP SWITCH
CONNECTOR
Insert the safety lanyard lock clip in engine switchCheck for continuity between the Black and white wire terminals of the handlebar switch connectorThere should be continuity with the engine switch released and should be no continuity the switch pushed
