CHARGING SYSTEM INSPECTION
CURRENT LEAKAGE INSPECTION
Remove the rear storage box (page 3-61With the safety lanyard clip removed, disconnect the negative (-) cable from the batteryConnect the ammeter (+) probe to the negative (-1 cable and the ammeter (-1 probe to the battery (-1 terminalWith the safety lanyard clip removed, check for current leakageWait for seconds after removing the safety lanyard clip, when checking the current leakageWhen measuring current using tester, set it to high range, and then bring the range down to an appropriate levelCurrent flow higher than the range selected may blow the fuse in the testerWhile measuring current, do not turn the ignition onA sudden surge of current may blow the fuse in the tester
TERMINAL
