SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL
Remove the safety lanyard and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent accidental engine starting when working the propulsion systemKeep hands, feet, and loose clothing away from the jet pump when running the engineThe is 3-blades impeller with seven vein mixed-flow pumpBe sure inspect the drive shaft seals at the recommended intervals to guard against driveline damage and leaksEvery time the drive shaft bearing housing or thrust plate is removed, check the engine-to-jet pump alignment using the special toolThe alignment is necessary to eliminate possible vibration andor damage to componentsAlways inspect the impeller for signs of cavitation or other damage; replace if necessary
