SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL
This section covers removal and installation of the exhaust system and turbochargerThese components can be serviced with the engine installed in the hullWhen the turbocharger pressure is abnormal, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) and waning light blinksFor this inspection, refer to page 8-13Always replace the gasket when removing the exhaust system componentsAlways inspect the exhaust system for leaks after installationDo not dissemble the turbocharger (including the wastegate control solenoid valve)Replace the turbocharger as an assembly if it is faulty-
