ENGINE REMOVALIINSTALLATION ENGINE RUBBER MOUNT REPLACEMENT Remove the engine mounting bolt and two rubber mount bolts with the washersSlide the rubber mount aside and remove the following:rubber mountrubber mount shim(s)rubber stopper (from rubber mount) Measure the height of the removed rubber mount and new rubber mount with the removed shim(s) at the point as shown, and record themSelect the shim(s) so that new rubber mount height is equal to the old rubber mount heightThe rubber mount shims are available in four different thicknesses (0.3, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 mm)Replace the rubber mountandrubber stopper as set
Install new rubber stopper onto new rubber mount with the stepped side facing in by aligning the tab with the groove in the rubber mountClean the seating areas of the engine and hullInstall the rubber mount with the shim(s)Carefully align the bolt holesApply engine oil to the bolt threads and seating surfaces and install them with the washersTighten the rubber mount bolts to the specified torque alternately
