ENGINE REMOVALIINSTALLATION
ENGINE INSTALLATION
PRE-ENGINE INSTALLATION
Whenever removing the engine from the watercraft, engine-to-jet pump alignment must be performed at installationRoute the wires, cables and hoses properly page 1-19)Remove the following:
- coupler cover (page 3-17)jet pump (page 14-7)drive shaft (page 14-15)
Place the engine into the body, being careful not to damage the deckCarefully align the Adjust the height of the hoist and lower the engine mountingboltholes and set it onto the rubber mounts (but do not in the engine and remove the sling and hoist yet)rubber mounts Tighten the Apply engine oil to the threads and seating surfaces mounting bolts to of the mounting boltsthe specified torque Install the four mounting bolts with the washers and after aGusting the temporarily tighten themengine-to-jet pump If you plan to replace rubber mount, use the folalignment
