FUEL SYSTEM (Programmed Fuel Injection) INSTALLATION Install new base packing onto the fuel tankAlign the marks on the fuel pump and fuel tank, and install the fuel pump assembly into the fuel tank, being careful not to damage or pinch the base packingMARKS
BASE PACKING Install and tighten the fuel pump lock nut using the special toolTOOL: Fuel sender wrench 07XAA-001010A or 07AAA-SOXA100 (U.S.Aonly)
TORQUE: 93 N-m (9.5 kgf-m, 69 Ibf-ft)
