FUEL SYSTEM (Proarammed Fuel Injection) FUEL FLOW INSPECTION Release the fuel pressure from the fuel hose (page 8-54)Remove the fuel return hose quick connect fitting (page 8-54)Place the return hose end into an approved gasoline containerInsert the safety lanyard lock clip in engine stop switch for 10 seconds and remove itMeasure the amount of fuel flowThe fuel pump operates for secondsRepeat times to meet the total measuring timeAmount of fuel flow: 310 cm3 (10.5 US oz, 10.9 Imp 02) minimum 10 seconds If the fuel flow is less than the specified amount, inspect the following:pinched or clogged fuel feed hose andor fuel return hoseclogged fuel pump strainer screen (page 8-59)pressure regulatorfuel pump Install the fuel hose quick connect fitting and fuel return hose quick connect fitting (page 8-56)Insert the safety lanyard lock clip in engine stop switch and check that there is no fuel leakageInstall the seats (page 3-5)FUEL RETURN HOSE
