FUEL SYSTEM (Programmed Fuel Injection) 4EOP (Low) Switch Inspection
Replace the EOP (Low) switch with new oneReset the DTC in the ECM (page 8-17)Insert the safety lanyard lock clip in engine stop switchStart the engine according to the flushing procedure (page 5-3)Check the EOP (Low) switch with the HDS at idle speedIs DTC 59-1 indicated?
- GO TO STEP 5- Faulty original EOP (low) switch
5Lubrication System Inspection
Check the oil gallery, passage and oil pump (page 6-7)Is the lubrication system in good condition?
- Replace
the ECM with known good one, and recheckClogged oil strainer Faulty oil pump internal oil leak Oil pressure relief valve stuck open incorrect oil being used
