Pull the safety lanyard lock clip off of the engine stop switchDisconnect the pressure hose from the wastegate actuatorConnect the pressure pump to the wastegate actuatorApply 60 kPa (0.61 kgcm2, 8.7 psi) of air pressure to the wastegate actuatorDoes the actuator rod move and hold its position,

Pinched or damaged pressure hose

5TCP Sensor Inspection Connect the pressure hose the wastegate control solenoid valveRemove the plug from the pressure hoseConnect the ECM 33P (Black) connectorReplace the TCP sensor with known-good oneReset the diagnostic memory in the ECM (page 8-17)Start the engine according to the flushing procedure (page 5-3) and increase the engine speed above 3,000 rpmCheck the TCP sensor with the HDSIs DTC 45- indicated?
