FUEL SYSTEM (Programmed Fuel Injection) DTC 18-1 (CMP SENSOR)
Before starting the troubleshooting, check the CMP sensor connector for loose contacts or corroded terminals, and recheck the DTC1CMP sensor Peak Voltage Inspection Pull the safety lanyard lock clip off of the engine stop switch, Disconnect the ECM 33P connectorsInsert the safety lanyard lock clip in engine stop switchCrank the engine with the starter motor, and measure the CMP sensor peak voltage at the ECM connector terminalsConnection: A20 (Blueyellow) (+) B33 (Green) (-)

Is the voltage more than 0.7 V?
- Replace the
ECM with known good one, and recheck
- GO TO STEP 2
