FUEL SYSTEM (Programmed Fuel Injection) DTC 9-2 (IAT SENSOR HIGH VOLTAGE)
Before starting the troubleshooting, check the IAT sensor connector for loose contacts or corroded terminals, and recheck the DTC1IAT Sensor System Inspection Insert the safety lanyard lock clip in engine stop switchCheck the IAT sensor with the HDSIs about Vindicated? YES NO
- GO TO STEP 2- Intermittent failure
Loose or poorly connected IAT sensor connector
2IAT Sensor Inspection Pull the safety lanyard lock clip off of the engine stop switchDisconnect the IAT sensor 2P (Black) connectorConnect the IAT sensor terminals with jumper wireInsert the safety lanyard lock clip in engine stop switchCheck the IAT sensor with the HDSIs about Vindicated? YES NO IAT SENSOR 2P (Black) CONNECTOR (Wire sidelfemale terminal)
