FUEL SYSTEM (Proarammed Fuel Iniection) CLEARING DTC When clearing DTC by HDS pocket tester Connect the HDS Pocket Tester to the DLC (page 8-15)Clear the DTC with the HDS while the engine is stoppedTo clear the DTC without HDS, refer to the following procedureWhen clearing DTC by SCS connector 1Remove the seats (page 3-5)2Disconnect the DLC from the dummy connectorShort the data link connector (DLC) terminals using special toolTOOL: 070PZ-ZY30100 SCS connector CONNECTION: BrownGreenIBlack 3Insert the safety lanyard lock clip in engine stop switch4Remove the special tool from the DLC5The MIL and warning light lights about secondsWhile the MIL and warning light lights, connect the DLC terminals aaain with the soecial toolThe self-diagnostic memory is erased, if the MIL and warning light goes off and starts blinkingNOTE-
