OIL FILTER BOSS
INSPECTION
Remove the engine oil filter (page 4-15)Check that the oil filter boss protrusion from the crankcase is specified length as shownOIL FILTER BOSS
SPECIFIED LENGTH: 1617 mm (0.60.7 in)
If the length is out of specification, correct the oil filter boss length as specifiedWhen removing the oil filter boss, apply locking agent to the threadsInstall and tighten the oil filter bossCheck that the oil filter boss protrusion from the crankcase is specified length (See above)Installation is in the reverse order of removal16-17mm (0.60.7 in)
