MAINTENANCE Make sure the oil
OIL LEVEL CHECK PROCEDURE ON CALM WATER Start the engine
cap'dipstick Warm up the engine at approximately 4,000 rpm for andenginedipstick minutesIf the air temperature is below 1O0C
are 'lghrened securely
(50F)let the engine idle for an additional minutes (a total of 10 minutes)Let the engine idle for minuteStop the engine and wait minutesRemove the oil filler capldipstick, and wipe it cleanInsert the dipstick into the oil filler cap hole in the oil tank until it seats, but do not screw it inRemove the oil filler capldipstick and check the oil levelThe engine contains sufficient amount of oil if the oil level is between the upper and lower level marks on the dipstickIf the oil level is near or below the lower level mark, add the recommended engine oil through the oil filler cap hole, until the oil level reaches the upper level markReinstall the oil filler capldipstick and check for any oil leaks

Change the oil with the engine warm to assure complete drainingSecure the watercraft on stand or trailerRemove the seats (page 3-5)Warm up the engine for few minutes according to the flushing procedure (page 5-3)Turn off the water and stop the engineRemove the oil filler capldipstick and the engine dipstickPump out the engine oil with commercially available Fluid Evacuator from the oil filler cap hole and drain pipe cap hole, drain the oil tank and oil panAfter draining the oil completely, install the engine dipstick and pour the recommended oil (page 4-13) into the oil tank through the oil filler cap holeENGINE DIPSTICK
