OIL LEVEL CHECK PROCEDURE SHORE Make sure the oil Start the engine according the flushing procedure filler capdipstick (page 5-3)and engine dipstick are tightened securely

Avoid running the engine without water flow for more than 15 seconds to prevent severe engine and exhaust system damageStart the engine before turning on the water to prevent flow through the exhaust pipe back into the engine where it could cause severe damage
Let the engine idle for minutesIf the air temperature is below 10 (50F)let the engine idle for an additional minutes (a total of 10 minutes)Turn off the water and rev the engine to clear water out of the exhaust system
