HULLIHOODIBODY PANELS Remove the two bolts and each step bracket
- trim clips (release by pulling the center pin upbracket coversreturn springrubber seat
using snap ring pliers or flat blade screwdriver)
Remove the following from the bracket:
Installation is in the reverse order of removalApply locking agent to the bracket bolt and pipe screw threadsInstall the return spring in the direction as shownWhen installing the screw, insert on the left side of the spring endWhen installing the trim clip, carefully align the clip holes to avoid damaging the clipInstall the trim clip and lock it by pushing securelyTORQUE: Bracket bolt: 26(2.7 kgf-m, 19 Ibf-ft) Pipe screw: Nem (0.92 kgf-m, 6.6 Ibf-ft)
