OPERATION WHEN OVERHEATED
The watercraft incorporates fail-safe function in the event that the engine overheatsIf the ECT sensor detects an engine temperature above 85'C (185OF), the ECM initiates fail-safe function to limit the engine speed to 3,000 rpmHowever, if the ECT sensor detects an engine temperature above 95OC (203'F) andor MST switch operation, the fail-safe function stops the engine
ECT SENSOR OPERATION
1If the ECT sensor detects an engine temperature above 85OC (185OF), the ECM will limit the engine speed to 3,000 rpm
