SPEEDOMETERSPEED SENSOR
SYSTEM INSPECTION
Remove the passenger grab rail page 3-5Disconnect the speed sensor 2P yellow connectorFit the safety lanyard clip to the base of the engine stop switchMeasure the voltage between the Bluewhite (+) and Blackorange () wire terminals of the wire harness side connectorThere should be battery voltage If there is no voltage, check the Bluewhite and Blackorange wiresIf the wires are OK, replace the combination meter If there is battery voltage, replace the speed sensor with known-good one and check the speedometer operation

SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL INSTALLATION
Remove the jet pump (page 14-8)Disconnect the speed sensor 2P yellow connectorBe careful not to damage the sensor connector when removing it through the wire holder hole
