IGNITION SYSTEM GROUND LINE Check for continuity between the Green wire terminal of the wire harness side ignition coil connector and groundThere should be continuity at all timesIf there is no continuity, repair the open circuit in the Green wire between the ignition coil and ground terminalWIRE HARNESS SIDE DIRECT IGNITION COIL CONNECTOR (viewed from the terminal side)
IGNITION TIMING
Remove the following: passenger grab rail (page 3-5) ARX1200T3T3D: coupler covers; and (page 3-14) ARX1200N3: coupler cover (page 3-14) Start the engine according to the flushing procedure (page 5-2) and let it idle for minutes to warm it upIf the air temperature is below 10!C (50!F), let it idle for an additional minutes (a total of 10 minutes)Turn off the water and stop the engineRead the manufacturer's instructions for timing light operation
