IGNITION SYSTEM Disconnect the ignition pulse generator 2P black connector and connect the peak voltage tester or adaptor probes to the connector terminals of the ignition pulse generator sideIn the same manner as at the ECM connector, measure the peak voltage and compare it to the voltage measured at the ECM connector If the peak voltage measured at the ECM is abnormal and the one measured at the ignition pulse generator is normal, the wire harness has an open or short circuit, or loose connection If both peak voltages are abnormal, check each item in the troubleshooting table on page 17-5If all items are normal, the ignition pulse generator is faultyIGNITION PULSE GENERATOR 2P CONNECTOR

If the ignition coil signal voltage is normal but there is no spark at the plug, perform this inspectionRemove the seats (page 3-4)Disconnect the direct ignition coil 3P connectorDIRECT IGNITION COIL 3P CONNECTOR
