BATTERYCHARGING SYSTEM 3Set the "TIMER" to the position indicated by the Honda Battery Tester; RED 3, RED or YELLOW 1If you are charging new battery, set the switch to the NEW BATT position4Attach the clamps to the battery terminals: red to positive, black to negativeConnecting the cables with the POWER switch turned to "ON" can produce spark which could ignite or explode the battery
NEW BATT
Connect the battery cables only when the "POWER" switch is turned to "OFF"1
TIMER Trickle 5Turn the "POWER" switch to "ON"
