BATTERY IS DAMAGED OR WEAK 1BATTERY TEST Remove the battery (page 16-5) Check the battery condition using the recommended battery testerRECOMMENDED BATTERY TESTER: BM-210-AH (U.S.Aonly), BM-210, BATTERY MATE or equivalent Is the battery in good condition? NO YES Faulty battery GO TO STEP 2
2CURRENT LEAKAGE TEST Install the battery (page 16-5)Check the battery current leakage test (Leak test; page 16-7)Is the current leakage below 2.0 mA? YES NO GO TO STEP GO TO STEP 3
3CURRENT LEAKAGE TEST WITHOUT REGULATORRECTIFIRE CONNECTOR Disconnect the regulatorrectifier connector and recheck the battery current leakageIs the current leakage below 2.0 mA? YES NO Faulty regulatorrectifier Shorted wire harness Faulty engine stop switch
