ENGINE REMOVALINSTALLATION Prepare 10-mm bolt of 1.25 mm pitch, and 10-mm nut and bolt for use of engine liftingTake care not to pinch the hose and wire by the sling when lifting the engine
Install the 10-mm bolt (1.25 mm pitch) into the hole in the rear left side of the cylinder head (this hole has threads), and the 10-mm bolt and nut into the hole in the front right side of the crankcaseHook sling to the lifting boltsUsing chain hoist or other suitable equipment, slightly lift the engine to ease the remaining component removalRemove the shims between the engine and rubber mounts
1.25 mm pitch
Record the location and number of shims for installation referenceBe careful not to damage the deck when removing the engine
