ENGINE REMOVALINSTALLATION
ENGINE REMOVAL
Remove the following: exhaust body (page 13-5) rubber coupling (page 14-25) starter motor (page 18-6) airbox (ARX1200T3T3D: page 8-89) Release the rubber shieldLoosen the cable setting nut and remove the throttle cable from the cable holderRemove the throttle cable off the cable clamp and disconnect it from the throttle drumCABLE CLAMP
RUBBER SHIELD HOLDER
Do not snap the throttle valve from full open to full closed after the throttle cable has been removedIt may damage the throttle bores and cause incorrect idle operation
THROTTLE CABLE
NUTS THROTTLE DRUM
Open the fuel fill cap to release the pressure from the fuel tankInstall the fill capCover the joint nut with rag or shop towel
