YES NO GO TO STEP Intermittent failure
2Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Inspection Pull the safety lanyard clip off of the engine stop switchDisconnect the engine oil temperature sensor 2P black connectorFit the safety lanyard clip to the base of the engine stop switchCheck the engine oil temperature sensor with the HDSIs about indicated? YES NO GO TO STEP Faulty engine oil temperature sensorENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR 3Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Output Line Short Circuit Inspection Pull the safety lanyard clip off of the engine stop switchDisconnect the ECM 26P black connectorCheck for continuity between the wire harness side engine oil temperature sensor connector terminal and groundConnection: Orange Ground Is there continuity? YES NO Short circuit in the Orange wire Replace the ECM with new one, and recheckOrange ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR 2P CONNECTOR (viewed from the terminal side) 2P BLACK CONNECTOR
