FUEL SYSTEM (Programmed Fuel Injection) 4TCP Sensor Output Line Short Circuit Inspection Pull the safety lanyard clip off of the engine stop switchCheck for continuity between the wire harness side TCP sensor connector terminal and groundConnection: Light blue Ground Is there continuity? YES NO Short circuit in the Light blue wire GO TO STEP 5TCP SENSOR 3P CONNECTOR (viewed from the terminal side)
Light blue 5TCP Sensor Inspection Replace the TCP sensor with new one (page 8108)Reset the diagnostic memory in the ECM (page 8-11)Fit the safety lanyard clip to the base of the engine stop switchCheck the TCP sensor with the HDSIs DTC 42-1 indicated? YES NO Replace the ECM with known good one, and recheck Faulty original TCP sensor
