FUEL SYSTEM (Programmed Fuel Injection) 2ECT Sensor Inspection Pull the safety lanyard clip off of the engine stop switchDisconnect the ECT sensor 2P blue connector
ECT SENSOR 2P CONNECTOR
Connect the wire harness side connector terminals with jumper wireFit the safety lanyard clip to the base of the engine stop switchCheck the ECT sensor with the HDSIs about indicated? YES NO Faulty ECT sensor GO TO STEP 3
ECT SENSOR 2P BLUE CONNECTOR (viewed from the terminal side)
JUMPER WIRE 3ECT Sensor Line Open Circuit Inspection Pull the safety lanyard clip off of the engine stop switchDisconnect the ECM 26P black connectorCheck the Pink and Greenyellow wires for continuity between the ECT sensor 2P connector terminals and ECM 26P black connector terminalsIs there continuity? YES NO Replace the ECM with new one, and recheck Open circuit in the Pink wire Open circuit in the Greenyellow wireECM 26P BLACK CONNECTOR (viewed from the terminal side) ECT SENSOR 2P CONNECTOR
