1Fully tilt the outboard motor up, and then support it with the tilt stop lever 1
WARNING
After tilting up the outboard motor, be sure to support it with the tilt stop leverOtherwise, the outboard motor could suddenly lower if the power trim and tilt unit should lose fluid pressureNOTE: If the power trim and tilt does not operate, loosen the manual valve and tilt the outboard motor up manually2Loosen the plastic ties 2, and then pull out the PTT motor lead 33Remove the bolt and disconnect the ground lead 54Remove the circlip 6, then the shaft 75Loosen the bolts 8, and then remove the shaft 96Remove the power trim and tilt unit 0
