5) Fill with fresh gear oil through the oil plughole until oil flows out through the levelplug hole, then secure the plugs in these two holes6) Install the spacers, propeller, washer, and propeller nut over the propeller shaft, Propeller nut: 55 Nm (5.5 m.kg, 40 ft.lb)
7) Align the recess in the propeller nut with the hole in the propeller shaft and insert the cotter pin into the holeBe sure to bend the cotter pin ends

LOWER UNIT LEAKAGE CHECK 1) Tighten the gear-oil-drain screw, and connect the tester to the oil-level hole2) Pump the tester, and apply specified pressureThen place the gear case in the water tank3) Check that the pressure is held at specified pressure for 10 secondsSpecified pressure: 1.0 kgfsq.cm, 2.2 PSI, 1.020 bar NOTE: _ If the pressure falls, the leakage from lower unit is unacceptable, requiring re-inspection of its component partsU
