Propeller shaft housing installation 1) Place shim pack and install the bearing housing in the lower caseThen, fit the key in the keyway on the lower case and bearing housingNOTE: For forward gear shim selection, refer to page 3-362) Place the tab-washer in place, install ringnut (with its embossed marks facing outward against bearing housing), tighten the ring-nut to the specified torque, and bend the lock-washer over the ring-nut to lock itRing nut: 190 Nm (19 m.kg, 137 ft.lb)
