REED VALVE Inspection 1) Visually inspect each reed for warpIf warpedmeasure the distortion with feeler gauges
Maximum reed warp: 0.9 mm (0.035 in)
If the warp of any reed is over the specified maximum, replace the reed valve2) Using vernier caliper, measure the valve stopper heightValve stopper height: 6.206.80 mm (0.2440.268 in) If the valve stopper height is out of the specificationadjust it by bending3) Visually inspect each reed for crackIf any crack are foundreplace the reed valve
