Make sure that the protrusions on the connecting rod and connecting rod cap face towards the flywheel magnet side of the crankshaft Reuse the removed connecting rod bolts when checking the oil clearance Do not turn the connecting rod until the crankpin oil clearance measurement has been completed6Remove the connecting rod cap, and then measure the width of the compressed Plastigauge (PG-1) on each crankpinReplace the crankpin bearing if out of specification
