Power tilt cylinder (power tilt model) 3Check the tilt cylinder end screw 6, dust seal 7, and backup ring 8Replace if cracked or scratched4Check the tilt ram 9Polish with 400 600-grit sandpaper if there is light rust or replace if bent or excessively corrodedNOTE: Lubricate the parts with ATF Dexron II during assembly1Install new dust seal 1, new O-rings and 3, and the backup ring into the tilt cylinder end screw 5 3 5

2Install the tilt cylinder end screw and tilt piston to the tilt ram 73Hold the tilt piston in vise using aluminum plates on both sidesS6AG7270
