NOTE: Do not get any sealant on the main bearings10Install the crankcase onto the cylinder block and apply engine oil to the threads of the crankcase bolts11Tighten the crankcase bolts to the specified torques in stages and in the sequence shown
NOTE: Before installing the oil filter, be sure to supply engine oil to the oil passage Apply thin coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the new oil filter before installation
Oil filter wrench: YU-38411
Oil filter: 18 Nm (1.8 kgfm, 13.3 ftlb)
13Install new gasket and the thermostat coverThermostat cover bolt: Nm (0.8 kgfm, 5.9 ftlb)
