2Remove the pin from the plunger for disassemble the fuel pump body 3
Assembling the fuel pump
NOTE: Clean the parts and soak the valves and the diaphragms in gasoline before assembly to obtain prompt operation of the fuel pump when starting the engine1Install the plunger and diaphragm into fuel pump body and then install the pin to the plunger 1

NOTE: Push down on the plunger and the diaphragm, turn fuel pump body approximately 90 to position where the pin can be removed easily Slowly release on the plunger and diaphragm, and then remove them
