Lower unit
Assembling the lower case
1Install the needle bearing into the lower case to the specified depth
CAUTION:
Add or remove shim(s), if necessary, if replacing the taper roller bearing or lower caseNOTE: Apply the gear oil to the inside and outside of the sleeve before installation Install the sleeve by facing the projection forwardDrive shaft seal installer 4: YB-06244 Driver handle (large) 5: YB-06071 3Install the original shim(s) and taper roller bearing outer race
NOTE: Install the needle bearing with the manufacture identification mark facing upwardDriver handle (large) 1: YB-06071 Drive shaft needle bearing remover and installer 2: YB-06155 Drive shaft needle bearing depth stop 3: YB-34473 Depth b: 188.1 0.5 mm (7.41 0.02 in) 2Install the sleeve, original shim(s), and taper roller bearing outer race
