Drive shaft and lower case NOTE: Install the claws as shownSlide hammer 1: YB-06096 Bearing puller legs 2: YB-06523 2Remove the drive shaft bearing outer race, shim(s), and drive shaft sleeve Checking the bearings
1Check the bearings for pitting or rumblingReplace if necessary
Checking the drive shaft
1Check the drive shaft for bends or wearReplace if necessary2Measure the drive shaft runout
