Propeller shaft housing Slide hammer 2: YB-06096 Bearing puller legs 3: YB-06523 3Remove the oil seals and needle bearingRunout limit: 0.02 mm (0.0008 in) 3Check the dog clutch and slider for cracks or wearReplace if necessary Assembling the propeller shaft assembly
1Install the dog clutch as shown

Checking the propeller shaft housing
1Clean the propeller shaft housing using soft brush and cleaning solvent, and then check it for cracksReplace if necessary2Check the teeth and dogs of the reverse gear for cracks or wearReplace the gear if necessary3Check the bearings for pitting or rumblingReplace if necessary
